With less than eight months before the show, Tarsus reports that a number of leading international suppliers have already booked stands, including Avery Dennison, Erhardt + Leimer, Gallus, HP, Omet, Mark Andy, Martin Automatic, Nilpeter and UPM Raflatac. Two companies have already announced their plans for the event. Nilpeter will launch its FB-3300 Servo Build press. The machine is said to have a number of features for value-added printing, such as a splicing table/web infeed, slide-out print stations and a Midpoint Pacing system which resets the tension between the print and die-cutting stations to improve register and reduce waste. The press has an Instant Registry Response system which enables multi-direction register adjustment without affecting web tension.
Omet, meanwhile, will show its Flexy and Flexy-S presses. The Flexy, which is available in three web widths, has a maximum speed of 150m/min. It offers a combination of flexo and screen printing with interchangeable units, as well as inline hot and cold foiling. The Flexy-S has shaftless and servo drive capability and can handle ‘the full spectrum’ of substrates. It can run at speeds of up to 200m/min.
