The first road show in its series organised by Tarsus as a prelude to this year's Labelexpo India show was held today at Chennai. This was held at 15 Medavakkam Road, Sholinganallur, Chennai in the evening and was hosted by Nilpeter / Proteck. The second in the series will be held tomorrow at Mumbai and will be hosted by SMI Coated Products at The Club Mumbai at 197 D N Nagar, Andheri (West) from 19:30 to 22:00 hrs.
This is the first time that a number of road shows in the run up to the December event, which is taking place at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 8-11 December 2010 is being organised by Tarsus. The road shows are free to attend and is organised to bring the printer community together to network and discuss the latest issues and innovations in preparation of the show. The third and the last in the series will however not be held (as anticipated by many) at New Delhi. However, this time the labels printers and other printing fraternity guys from Punjab can take the opportunity and join in the networking reception as well as interactive presentations on the Indian label market and new product launches at Labelexpo India as it is being held in Ludhiana on 29th September at Fortune Park Klassik Hotel, Link Road, Opp Model Town, in the evening.
The road shows will include a networking reception as well as interactive presentations on the Indian label market and new product launches at Labelexpo India. The road show in Chennai also perhaps included a live press demonstration as was announced. These events are sure to be of great benefit for printers and members of the press who will be able to get a preview of all the exciting developments that will be on display at the show in December.
Roger Pellow, Labelexpo Managing Director, said: “Running these road shows before Labelexpo India is a great way to engage with printers across India before the show. We believe in developing the labeling industry and growing it globally. Labelexpo India is one of the events that is key to this strategy and reflects our commitment to this important market.”
Tickets to the road shows are free of charge, but limited to printers and members of the media. Please visit the Labelexpo India website page or email the marketing team to apply for the exclusive tickets.
