A new labelstock manufacturing company, SAScoat, has been founded in Asia. The company intends to service a global customer base through several hubs and locations across various continents. An independent coating and laminating company based in the heart of the Asia- pacific region, SAScoat not only develops special and non standard self adhesive products, but also caters for highly efficient standard label stock products for product identification and decoration. The company is serving a dedicated and global customer base with cutting edge technology and production processes that are 100% environment friendly

‘Dedicated to offering quality products manufactured to high European influenced technical standards along with experienced personnel and a high speed modern manufacturing facility, SAScoat offers label converters a new sourcing opportunity for their pressure sensitive requirements,’ said the company in statement.

SAScoat’s main manufacturing plant in the south of Vietnam is equipped with the latest coating equipment that caters for a multitude of labelstock products. The highly technological set up of the 15,000 square meter plant also enables label converters, business forms printers and web finishing companies to not only have access to standard labelstocks and adhesives but to obtain non-standard products and bespoke constructions throughout the region.

SAScoat’s laboratory oversees both on and offline quality assurance of the production processes and supervises conception of labelstock through to the actual dispensing and application of final labels. The company says it is the largest laboratory of its kind in the Asia Pacific region dedicated to the development and enhancement of existing labeling systems.

All products manufactured by SAScoat are solventless and water-based. SAScoat’s main energy source is LPG and the company runs and maintains its own water treatment systems.
