Screen European Operations is pleased to announce the appointment of Carlo Sammarco as European Business Manager with a focus on Flexo Packaging. The appointment sees Carlo move from his existing sales role with Screen UK to this newly-created position at Screen European Operations.
Screen is bringing its reputation as the world’s leading developer and supplier of quality computer to plate (CTP) systems to the flexo industry sector with an expanding range of highly innovative imaging systems and specialist workflow options. The Screen PlateRite FX range of thermal platesetters images all market-leading solvent and water-wash photopolymer plates for flexo and letterpress applications to the highest 4,800 dpi quality levels. In addition to Screen’s Equios workflow and FlexoDot software, the open-platform PlateRite FX systems can be integrated with any flexo front-end system to create a powerful and flexible imaging solution for flexible packaging, labels, cartons and corrugated packaging applications.
Carlo is now responsible for managing Screen’s growing market share in the flexo packaging industry and will provide expert knowledge and support to the company’s direct and reseller sales teams across Europe. “We deliver the best quality imaging systems available today, backed by Screen’s renowned service and warranty, to ensure customers have the best production experience.
