Brandtjen & Kluge announces strategic alliance at drupa

Brandtjen & Kluge and The Brausse Group announced a strategic agreement in which the two companies will co-market the Brausse 1050 Series of foil stamping, embossing and die cutting machines in the U.S. and Canada. “We believe that our co-marketing agreement is the best possible way to leverage the core competencies of our two organizations for the benefit of our customers,” said John Cheng, President of The Brausse Group. “The brand name Kluge is synonymous with foil stamping and embossing and Brausse is a recognized leader in high speed die cutting.  Together we can provide world class solutions to the specialty print finishing market.”

The Brausse 1050 series is recognized as the leading machine solution in its product segment. The operational accuracy of the 1050 starts with a non-stop feeder and register system that delivers excellent registration even on the most difficult of products.  The controls of the 1050 are designed with the operator in mind; an LCD screen display provides real-time operating information for each section of the machine and an integrated microprocessor for system monitoring and self-diagnosis. The system can be enhanced with the optional triple action stripping station with gripper edge removal for even greater productivity.

“The addition of the Brausse 1050 series to our product portfolio gives Brandtjen & Kluge the ability to provide our customers with a high quality finishing machinery solution for each of the key sheet formats in the marketplace today,” said Michael Aumann, CEO, at Brandtjen and Kluge. “The combined efforts of our two organizations will result in a world class offering of equipment, training and support for our customers.”
