ultraviolet (UV) light, water, chemicals and tearing. Optimized for high-heat,
dry-toner laser-print applications, the brilliant white substrate enables vivid
color and precise print reproduction as well as optimized toner fusion that
bonds images to the digital paper surface for long-term color retention.
Because of its color fidelity, stiffness and durability, Lumit digital paper is
ideal for indoor and outdoor print applications such as shelf strips and
cooler-door labels in retail and grocery stores; plant tags, stakes and wraps
in garden and nursery shops; and access-control wristbands for hospitals, water
parks and amusement parks.

Royal
Coat to highlight Zecher’s Pyramid at Labelexpo India
Mumbai-based Royal Coat, the Indian
distributor for Zecher anilox rollers, will highlight the Pyramid which was
launched at Drupa. According to Sunil Talpade, MD-Royal
Coat, “Zecher has analysed the wide band of printing requirements according
to the anilox specification palette. To give a purposeful orientation and
possibilities for the standardisation within the variety in requirements, we
will present for the first time a specification pyramid for the Indian market."
The single segment of the pyramid enables the printer to structure their
requirement profile in the pressroom clearly. This specification list
pressed in the unique form of a Pyramid was born out of the close partnership
between flexo suppliers and flexo printers and is a result of hundreds of
printing tests that have been done during the last two years. It contains
specifications which have proven perfect results throughout its use in hundreds
of printing houses around the world and latest developments used to print high
resolution flexo.
The wide range
of 15 different screens can be used in label as well as wide web flexo and also
can be used with solvent, water and UV-based inks. The objective of the Pyramid
is the reduction of press down time and waste production whereas increasing the
printing quality at the same time. This goal can only be reached by working
close together and placing all the important parameters on a round table.
