Essel Propack, the largest global
manufacturer of laminated tubes, has adopted Esko’s pre-press and workflow
software, as well as its CDI digital flexo plate imaging, for producing flexo
and letterpress plates in-house. Headquartered in Mumbai in Western India, Essel
Propack, part of the Essel Group, has a 33 percent market share in its
specialized domain, producing high-quality print on laminated tubes using
flexo, letterpress and digital printing.
As part of its continuous
modernization and standardization, Essel Propack has chosen to implement Esko’s
pre-press and workflow technology. Essel Propack has implemented Esko CDI in
six locations across its plants in India, Poland and China. The company is
using Esko’s pre-press software, including Color Engine, and adopted Esko’s
Full HD Flexo for its CDI Spark imagers with in-line UV2.

our units in India (Vashind, Wada, Nalagarh, Goa) and across the globe in
Poland and China.’
Further, Essel Propack is
continuing to expand its capacities in India and internationally as it
anticipates increased demand from old and new customers. The company sees
tremendous growth potential in all the three sectors in which it is present:
beauty and cosmetics; pharmaceuticals and cosmetics; and health and food.
Ramasamy emphasizes that the
