Gidue will attend the next Labelexpo South
China 2014 , the largest event for the Labels and Packaging Industry in China,
that will take place from the 3rd to the 5th December, 2014 at the Pazhou
Exhibition Center in Guangzhou (China).
Federico d’Annunzio, Gidue President,
together with Matteo Cardinotti, Gidue Managing Director, Maurizio Trecate, Gidue
Vice President Sales and the whole team of its certified distributor Gidue China,
will be happy to welcome all visitors at Gidue Stand C19 in Hall 15 to
introduce the revolutionary Digital Flexo Excellence Technology, recently
awarded with the first prize at the Label Industry Global Awards for Innovation
2014.
Gidue Digital Flexo Excellence concept will
be presented in combination with REVO Digital Flexo Revolution technology. REVO
is a project team which collects 8 industry leaders (AVT, Adare, Apex Group of
Companies, Dupont, Esko, Flint Group, Gidue and UPM Raflatac) that gathered to
launch a complete UV Flexo package that allows conventional print to fight back
against digital on short runs. REVO Technology uses UV Flexo Inks, Digital
Automation “from pre-press to printing process” and extended color gamut, that
allows the achievement of repeatable and predictable PMS shades without
changing Anilox and Inks. The most important benefits of REVO Technology are
the repeatability and predictability of the printing results, short set-up
times and waste, total graphic flexibility to reproduce unlimited colors on the
same job and fast change-overs that no need any manual intervention from the
operator.
Gidue Digital Flexo Excellence played a
strong role in the REVO Project by providing this particular system of
technologies, which have been developed to make the work flow, set-up and run
of a flexographic press for Labels and Packaging “digitized” and “automated”.
With faster change-over times, higher press up-time, and minimum wastes,
Digital Flexo Excellence projects flexography to a new era in the Label and
Packaging industry, challenging Digital printing on quality, efficiency and
profitability also in micro and short runs.
Steven Fan, Gidue China responsible,
commented: “Today, Gidue presence in the Chinese market is solid: we have
already 32 working presses. All the installed machines have been able to
satisfy printing requirements very different one from the other, ranging from
the label business and the carton, to the security one. In very recent years,
those highly technological printing machines were set with the very best of Gidue
expertise: Digital Flexo, Snowball, combined printing tools (made of offset,
flexo and digital inkjet applications). “
