Straub Druck + Medien AG invests in second generation Jet Press 720S

Fujifilm announced that print service provider Straub Druck + Medien AG is the first company in Germany to invest in its second generation Jet Press 720S digital B2 inkjet press. One of the key factors that influenced the company’s decision was the ultra-high print quality of the Jet Press 720S.

The investment in the new press, which is driven and controlled by Fujifilm's XMF Workflow, is part of the company's long-term expansion plans, with the company looking to successively replace the existing in-house offset printing presses by the Jet Press 720S. Francisco Martinez, chairman of the Straub Druck + Medien AG board, comments: “The Jet Press 720S offers enormous potential with the excellent print quality that it delivers and the speed at which we can change between jobs.“

Founded over 130 years ago, Straub Druck + Medien AG is based in Schramberg in the Black Forest, Germany, and currently employs over 80 people. The company produces a range of high-quality printed products, both long and short run, including annual reports, brochures, scratch-and-sniff calendars and mailings for regional, national and international customers. It also offers a wide variety of processing and finishing options for all applications, and has huge experience in digital printing.

"Straub Druck + Medien AG’s investment underlines the enormous potential of the Jet Press 720S in terms of flexibility, cost-efficiency and high added value,” concludes Dirk Mussenbrock, Regional Sales Manager, Jet Press at Fujifilm. “We're looking forward to develop this partnership with a print service provider that sees the massive potential of the Jet Press 720S and high quality B2 sheet-fed inkjet printing.”
