Komori to sponsor Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) Conference

Komori America is sponsoring the Paperboard Packaging Council Spring Outlook and Strategies Conference held April 11-14 in Baltimore at the Baltimore Marriot Waterfront. The PPC is the leading trade association serving suppliers and converters of all forms of paperboard packaging. It provides its members with educational and information services on government regulations, statistics, safety, finance and technology.
Komori will present its full line of packaging solutions. Doug Schardt, senior product manager at Komori America Corporation, will share with attendees how Komori is once again leading the industry, rolling out digital printing systems and originating offset solutions tailored for packaging. Doug’s session will take place at the Members Only Breakfast held Wednesday, April 11 at 8:00 a.m. He will cover the benefits of coupling the Impremia IS29, a first-of-its-kind 23 x 29-inch UV inkjet sheetfed printing system, with Highcon® digital finishing solutions. This combination is perfect for packaging printers who want to offer a wide range of applications from unique packaging solutions to customization with variable data cutting, web-to-pack and even 3D modeling. Additionally, Schardt will cover the features and benefits of the Lithrone GX40 and GXRP, Komori’s flagship machines that provide powerful support for package printing. Information on all Komori’s solutions will be available at Komori’s tabletop display.

“We are very excited to be sponsoring this conference because it underscores Komori’s commitment to provide packaging printers with high quality multicolor digital and offset printing capabilities on every substrate imaginable,” said Doug Schardt, senior product manager at Komori America. “Our packaging solutions allow customers greater flexibility for delivering innovative applications and a faster time to market.”
