Highcon Euclid IIIC for corrugated board causing a stir at Fespa EDP Award

Appearing for the first time at Fespa in Berlin, Highcon Systems introduced the capabilities of the new Highcon Euclid IIIC digital cutting and creasing machine to visitors.

Adding to the excitement of the exhibition is the news that the Highcon Euclid IIIC machine for corrugated board has been awarded the “Best digital sheetfed cutting solution” in the Annual Awards from the European Digital Press Association (EDP) for quality and innovation in technologies for the digital printing industry. 21 leading trade magazines with an editorial focus on digital print processes from all over Europe, covering 27 countries and reaching more than half a million readers in Europe, selected the winners according to criteria like achievement, quality and costs.

Jens Henrik Osmundsen, Highcon VP Sales and GM of EMEA & APAC, said: “We are extremely proud to have won this award and to have received the recognition of this influential group of editors.  I am also very happy to announce that Schoepe Display in Berlin has entered into an agreement to become the first Highcon Euclid IIIC customer in Germany.”

At Fespa visitors were able to learn all about the opportunities that this revolutionary technology unlocks. As well a wide range of samples produced on the machine, Mr. Eitan Varon, Highcon Executive Vice President, spoke in the Fespa Corrugated Inspiration Lounge. Visitors to the Highcon booth were also able to talk to Silvano Gauch, President of LxBxH, Switzerland about the Highcon Euclid IIIC for corrugated board and receive answers about machine capabilities, benefits, and daily workflow.
