Flint Group is looking forward to exhibiting at
Labelexpo Americas, scheduled for 25 to 27 September in Chicago. Flint Group
will be located in Hall A, Stand 728 at the show. According to Flint Group CEO
Antoine Fady, “Labelexpo is the hotspot for the label industry and a
cornerstone event for us. At the Americas show, the combined Flint Group
divisions will be showcasing our broadest ever portfolio of innovation
solutions for the label industry. Visitors to our booth will discover how the
“Flint Group Label Factory” offers an unmatched product and services portfolio
that covers all steps of the value chain for label printing and addresses most
industry needs. Our highly expert teams will provide updates and insight on
everything from prepress and pre-production, to digital and conventional print
and embellishments, converting and delivery.”
“During the show, on September 26, we will also be
revealing the winners of our 14th Annual Print Awards which celebrate the best
label submissions from Flint Group’s Narrow Web, Flexographic and Xeikon
customers. The awards showcase what is possible with our solutions and ignite
the imagination. It will be an honor to recognize our customers for their
outstanding work,” Fady adds.
“Visitors to the show are also invited to our
speaker’s corner, where industry experts will share their knowledge and be
available to answer questions. And, of course, we will be hosting a “Happiest
of Happy Hours” daily,” continues Fady. “Labelexpo Americas is a great
opportunity to meet with label printers and converters who are looking to
better position themselves to address emerging market realities, and we are
looking forward to a highly successful show.”
Innovation
on display
Flint Group presents technologies from four
different product groups that encompass the latest developments in prepress and
pre-production, through digital and conventional print and embellishments,
converting and delivery. These include:
Flexographic
products: The complete product portfolio of nyloflex printing plates, plate
processing equipment and rotec sleeves and adapters for narrow web printing
will be showcased. A particular highlight will be the addition of the nyloflex
XVH Digital plate to the thermally processed plate family offered by Flint
Group Flexographic - a new, versatile, hard durometer plate with an inherently
flat top surface.
Narrow Web
Inks and Coatings: focused on helping customers expand their capabilities,
Flint Group Narrow Web designs high quality, innovative products and services
to increase converter productivity and efficiency, and provide the lowest
applied cost per label while enhancing the converter’s brand image. Included at
the show are recent innovations in LED curable inks, the most complete inks and
coatings portfolio for food-compliant flexible packaging, and the most
accurate, versatile and easy to use color management service.
Digital
Solutions - Xeikon: Xeikon will be helping visitors identify ways to expand
their services, identify the most cost-effective production method, and take
advantage of Xeikon’s application-driven approach to support customers in
developing new business. Featured will be the Xeikon PX3000, the first UV
inkjet press based on Xeikon’s Panther technology launched in 2017. Its primary
focus is self-adhesive labels for health & beauty, premium beer, durable
and industrial chemical or household applications. Xeikon will also feature its
toner-based Xeikon 3030 digital press with a custom finishing line specifically
developed for the North American market. Entry-level, robust, and designed to
be upgraded as businesses grow, this press offers anti-counterfeiting features
as well as the ability to print white onto transparent materials for a seamless
'no label' effect. Visitors will be able to discover which technology best
serves their business needs.
Digital
Solutions - ThermoFlexX: ThermoFlexX platemaking systems provide high
resolution plate exposure including screening, as well as workflow management.
On show will be the ThermoFlexX 48-S that offers fully automatic plate loading
and unloading. With the latest imager and Multiplate software release, customers
will benefit from optimized output, automatically selecting the best quality at
the highest productivity.
