Celebrating 25 Years of Business Success with a New Brand Vision

Striving to provide the highest quality systems, this year marks a quarter century for the Reifenhauser India Marketing Ltd. (RIML) team. RIML - a 50:50 joint venture between Germany's Reifenhauser and Mehta family has hit a significant milestone of 25 years of successful operations in the Indian sub-continent. The journey that started in late 1992-93 has seen many highs over the two and a half decade period. The company that initially started off with marketing and supplying extrusion machines from Reifenhauser Germany now represents 27 international machine manufacturers today.

As Manish Mehta, co-founder of Reifenhauser India Marketing puts it: "We grew in tune with the Indian packaging industry selling extrusion lines for our customers from the industry. The same customers started demanding a variety of other solutions to upgrade and equip themselves to cater to the industry better. That made way for us to expand our portfolio of products. Luckily, the industry welcomed us and helped us grow and reach here where we are today."

RIML represents some of the world’s leading brands in flexible packaging, converting, label solutions, defect detection systems, injection moulding and of course plastics extrusion. Some of the brands RIML represents are Bobst, AVT, Fuji, Grafotronic, Nordson, Comexi, Pelican, Kroenert, totani, Nissei, Konica Minolta, Dr. Schenk, and ofcourse the parent company Reifenhauser.

Not only has the portfolio of products expanded, RIML's geographical reach in India has grown to seven branches across India employing 65 people. Carrying forward the momentum of last 25 years, Reifenhauser India has planned some interesting initiatives for the coming future. It has now spread across the MEA - Middle East and Africa region with its new entity Reifenhauser Middle East and Africa (RMEA) – the formal announcement of which was made at Arab Plast 2019 in Dubai. This entity has the same structure as RIML - a 50:50 joint venture between Germany's Reifenhauser and the Mehta family.

With a New Milestone, New Vision and an added New Company, what stays the same in both the companies is an enduring hallmark of their service, their ability to understand their customers' needs and offering them solutions focused on driving better business outcomes. This remains as true as ever as this focus of Reifenhauser has created loyal customers and new customers throughout the years.
