The
organizer of Labelexpo Asia 2019 is hosting a series of morning roadshows
across China during October in conjunction with key industry partner, the
Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC). Held
in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai, the three events are an opportunity for
printers and media to gain an exclusive insight into what the 2019 edition of
Labelexpo Asia has in store. Each roadshow will be led by Kevin Liu, Labelexpo Asia project director, who will reveal the latest industry trends as well as present show highlights. He will be joined by representatives from PEIAC, and, for the event in Guangzhou, leaders from Guangdong Printing Association and Guangdong Packaging Association.
The roadshow dates and locations are as follows:
Beijing:
Asia Hotel Beijing, 16 October 2019
Guangzhou:
DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou, 17 October 2019
Shanghai:
Shanghai Huating Hotel, 18 October 2019
Kevin
Liu, Labelexpo Asia 2019 project director, said: “Following the success of our
extremely popular 2017 roadshows, once again we are delighted to be able to
offer this series in the run-up to Labelexpo Asia 2019. Flexible packaging in
particular is set to be a major theme at this year’s show for the first time,
with the introduction of our Flexpack feature area, so we would encourage
printers looking to move into this rapidly growing sector to attend one of our
roadshows. We strongly recommend early booking as places are strictly limited.”
Aimed
at printers, designers, brand owners and industry suppliers, Labelexpo Asia is
the largest label and package printing event in the region, and will run 3-6
December at Shanghai’s New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Supported by
PEIAC, the show provides a platform for 300 industry leading companies from the
region and more widely to showcase their expertise, products and technology
innovations. It brings together the entire supply chain with machinery,
ancillaries, substrates and ink suppliers all under one roof.
Chinese
exhibitors include: Brotech, HanGlobal, Jinda, KingLabel, Rhyguan, SilkStar,
Spande, Taiyo, Wanjie, Weigang, Winbosc, Zhongshan Fuzhou, and Zhongte.
Overseas exhibitors include: Avery Dennison, Dilli, Domino, Lintec, Konica
Minolta, OMET, Ritrama, and UPM Raflatac.
The
new Flexpack area will showcase the latest technology in flexible packaging.
Visitors will get to see in-line presses in action, as well as learn about the
latest innovations in inks, coatings and surface treatments such as corona for
flexible packaging and laminating films. Ancillary machines will also be
demonstrated, such as high speed slitting equipment for master flexible
packaging rolls. An educational program of expert-led master classes is also
planned to complement the main Labelexpo Asia 2019 exhibition. Entry is free to
Labelexpo Asia. Visitors should pre-register on the show website to receive
their full exhibition pass.
